Life Lessons from Brown College

If you ask a group of students who have graduated from Brown College what they learned while they were there, you’ll get some interesting answers. You’ll get a lot of information about what they studied during their years at Brown. However, you’ll also find that these students learned a whole lot about life during their college years.

Here are some life lessons  you might take away from attending a school like Brown:

  • Communication is important. These schools have small classes which let you interact and communicate with peers and instructors. You learn how to do that in an effective way and see just how important it is.
  • Learning is more important than grades. Unlike curve-based grading programs, these programs allow you to focus on doing your best. This makes education more about learning than just about beating out the others in your class.
  • There’s still a lot to learn. There are so many different classes at Brown and no chance to take them all. Students always want to go back for just one more thing that they didn’t get to study.

It’s not just Brown College students who learn these things. Students from Collins College, Harrington interior design school and other small schools across the nation may also learn these things. And learning about life is what college is really supposed to be about!
